In 2024, Big Trade Data expanded its database coverage to include emerging markets such as Burundi, South Sudan, and Gabon, becoming the first service provider to achieve full coverage across French-speaking African countries. On-site, Jane demonstrated the capabilities of the AI DaaS system to the delegation. Taking textiles—a major import from China to Africa—as an example, she showcased data including the volume of textile imports from Africa to China this year, average import prices, and key importing regions and countries. This real data allowed delegation members to gain an intuitive and in-depth understanding of textile demand, competitive landscape, and supply chain dynamics in the African market.

Representatives from Egypt, Lesotho, and Uganda expressed strong interest in the functions of Big Trade Data’s AI DaaS system, engaging in continuous dialogue with the International Market Department colleagues on-site. They noted that the data and analysis provided by the system would significantly advance efforts for African enterprises to expand into the Chinese market and for Chinese companies to enter Africa.

An Ethiopian representative also commented that the AI DaaS system clearly reveals demand trends in the Chinese market for various African products, thereby enhancing trade efficiency. Simultaneously, it helps local enterprises better introduce high-quality Chinese products and technologies, promoting industrial upgrading.
